Donald Trump Can't Relate To Americans

Donald Trump has not responded in the fashion of a leader to any of the crises that have faced the nation this year for one simple reason: a leader is able to relate to the plight of their countrymen and respond with an appropriate sense of urgency and purpose. Trump has come from wealth. The fact that his grandfather worked his way to success is far from justification for calling him a self-made man. Anyone who has started a small business knows that the process is arduous and risky. Approximately half will fail, and almost all are started with business loans of several hundred thousand dollars that can be defaulted on and result in bankruptcy and financial ruin.

Trump incurred none of that risk. He famously said that he accepted a "small loan of a million dollars from [his] father" and worked in the family real estate business. Besides the fact that such a tremendous initial capital almost guaranteed success were it placed in the hands of anyone with the basic business knowledge that Trump's bachelor's degree ensured, were Trump to fail, his family would be there for him to fall back on, a luxury no normal American can afford.

As Trump became America's first billionaire president, an irony in that Michael Bloomberg's wealth was harshly-criticized by Republicans and the large majority of their base distrusts the New York bank elite that they may not know Trump comes from, he dated a string of mail-order immigrant brides. Despite their hatred of immigrants, the base tries to claim that these three white women mean Trump can't be racist. As the images above show, Trump simply cannot relate to Americans in a time when America desperately needs a leader with their best interests in mind. Of course, if you have also spent 50 million a year on golf and also have gold toilets, I encourage you to vote for him.
