       The evangelical obsession with Donald Trump has nothing to do with Christian values and everything to do with spreading bigotry by promulgating the misconstruction of old. Trump only attended church a few times during his presidency, to crash funerals he was explicitly asked not to attend and tear gas peaceful protestors for a photo opportunity with a bible. President Biden attends mass every Sunday, the second Roman Catholic president.      Set aside the frequency of attendance, and supporting Trump still doesn't add up. He gave tax cuts to billionaires while withholding aid to Puerto Rico, claiming men were the real victims of rape, putting children in cages away from their families, and paying money to silence a porn star he cheated on his third wife with, to cite a few examples. Jesus was a Jewish vagrant who helped the sickly and destitute and urged men to gouge their eyes out before thinking impure thoughts.       Biden raised hundreds of millions of dollars for cancer

       Progress on abortion has come at record speed in 2021: in the first month, South Korea, Argentina, and now Thailand have legalized abortions on request. Thailand's new code is not complete, as it only applies in the first trimester. Women who get abortions in the second or third trimester could face fines or even prison time. However, history has shown that this leads to destigmatization and legalization of all abortion eventually. Asia, aside from Africa, is the most conservative region of the world, and seeing this occur in two Asian countries within a month is a sign that progress is being made.

       President Biden recently announced that Donald Trump will not have access to post-presidential intelligence briefings. While citing the risk Trump posed, Biden also noted that he saw no need for it. Such briefings are customary and not mandatory. Considering Trump refused to concede, sent a mob to kill Congress, criminally pressured Georgia officials, and violated every inaugural transfer of power custom, the idea that Trump deserves the benefit of custom is ludicrous.      It is also worth noting that Trump was disinterested in most intelligence briefings as president unless he saw reason to disagree with it. Even former Trump officials have claimed that he would not do well with the information, especially as Trump faces criminal and civil liability. In 2017, Trump accidentally gave classified information in a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

     Marjorie Taylor Greene has decided that she represents her own fringe political cult and her own career interests, not the people she serves. She and the other hateful Republicans, especially from states like Georgia, have announced war on transgender rights. Greene called the idea of protecting LGBTQ Americans from discrimination "immoral and evil." Claiming it to be a movement of perverts, she ignores that transgender sporting protections specifically require surgery and hormone treatments. Claiming it to violate religious liberties, she ignores the fact that the same religious exemptions regarding race and gender protections would apply to this bill. Race and gender just happen to not be politically acceptable to attack anymore, or churches would be doing it more often.      When Greene was forced to look at a transgender flag placed by Marie Newman outside of Newman's office, Greene responded with a sign that said: "There are two genders. Trust the science.&

     Most Americans are middle-class workers struggling to make ends meet or to climb up the social ladder. FOX News knows this, and their prime time slot is a prime example of the level to which they are willing to sink. Other networks, like CNN, have their prime time between eight and eleven at night, when most Americans watch TV. FOX? Six o'clock.      Six o'clock is when many Americans working from nine to five finally get home. Tired and angry, they need to vent, and FOX provides a perfect place to do so, blaming women, minorities, liberals, etc. for a variety of made-up problems. The viewers eat it up. FOX is precisely why white supremacism and domestic terrorism are rising.      You can't spend decades stirring up anger among half the country without expecting a few of the less stable ones to go off the deep end, into the rabbit hole of militant conspiracy theories, an alternate reality in which truth and facts are bent to provide easy "fixes" to life.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, the woman famous for believing Barack Obama is a Muslim gang member, 9/11 was a hoax, Hillary Clinton is a cannibalistic pedophile, and school shootings are false flags by paid actors, apparently believes one mass shooting was real.      She believes that the 2017 Las Vegas shooting was targeting conservatives and, as such, was pulled off by liberals to silence gun rights activists. Las Vegas is an urban area in increasingly-liberal Nevada, but she believes conservatives like herself are the real victims.       The disgraced congresswoman is a political pariah who was recently stripped of her committee assignments but remains popular in her home district.

       President Biden's approval rating has remained steadily above 60 percent for the first six weeks of his presidency. Some of this is related to policy, from repealing the Muslim ban and stopping the Trump Wall to reuniting kids kept from their families in cages, protecting LGBTQ rights, and providing an increased response to coronavirus.      However, this probably has more to do with the tone of the White House. No daily controversies and Twitter rants, no claiming fraud, no hiding from the public, no business and sex scandals distracting from the issues. Trump didn't even have a dog: Biden has two. He has an actual loving relationship with his wife of 45 years. She actually speaks, and she is actually intelligent. He spent a weekend at Camp David with his grandkids playing Mario Kart, and reporters who ask tough questions don't get insults, the news doesn't get called fake, and messages of hope and love are actually sent.      In short, it appears the key to bei

While Democratic and Republican presidents alike have recently gone on to remain political advisers, write books, start charities and libraries, volunteer, speak, teach, or simply relax, Donald Trump can look forward to a miserable retirement.      A man who has gone bankrupt six times knows legal trouble, but this is different. He has been barred from social media. A Supreme Court decision recently gave his tax returns to New York for potential criminal prosecution, and Congress could request access to the documents. He is also facing lawsuits alleging sexual assault and defamation, and he faces criminal prosecution in Georgia related to his phone call.        His financial sponsors in New York and globally are abandoning him. His hotel in Chicago faces a $12 million fine. His Atlantic City casino was just demolished. He is currently in the middle of a fight over whether he can live in Mar-a-Lago.      He has been sued and will like

     Last month, on a Facebook post, Former President Barack Obama announced that his foundation had cleared the several-year clearance and community consultation process and would break ground on its headquarters within a matter of months. The foundation, located in Chicago, focuses on developing community advocates and assisting education. It will also manage his presidential library.      This comes on the heels of his November 2020 publication of The Promised Land , a bestseller with millions of copies continuously being distributed and part of a larger decamillion-dollar book deal.      Obama, alongside his wife, Michelle, co-owns Higher Ground Productions, a company that has created or acquired over a dozen documentaries, television programs, movies, and podcasts in the past few years.      No longer the number one news station on TV, FOX News can take pride in being... oh, never mind. FOX News is currently the 20th-best news station on YouTube, according to Social Blade, with roughly half the subscribers and views of CNN. The latter is ranked as the second-best news station on YouTube and the first on television. FOX is getting desperate, and when FOX hosts get desperate, they start calling Iraqi children racial slurs again. The last handful of bimbos on Earth, meanwhile, will agree with them to avoid losing their jobs and their water privileges.

       Rush Limbaugh called then-12-year-old Chelsea Clinton a dog. He cheered when people died of AIDS. He claimed that feminism was for ugly women. He was a never-ceasing fountain of hatred and bigotry. This was all ironic, because, even though he was indeed no looker himself, he was married four times and had zero kids. Is it because his diet of steak and cigars rendered him impotent, or because he had endless questions about his own sexuality?      Ron DeSantis, in between making it harder for black people to vote, ordered flags lowered to half-staff for this human baboon. I'm glad the man who spent his life promulgating hate is gone. Speaking not ill of the dead is meant for people who tried to do right in life but had demons, not refuse bins like Rush.        Linkin Park's number-one album "Living Things," which turns a decade old in 2022, recently passed another milestone: it surpassed a billion views on YouTube. Featuring songs like "Lost In The Echo," "Powerless," "Burn It Down," and "Castle of Glass," the album has seen skyrocketing popularity in the last few years, as has its predecessor, as electronic-based music becomes mainstream.       With its songs being used in numerous TV shows and video games, the album strayed away from political themes. "Castle of Glass," however, which has nearly 500 million views itself and is one of Linkin Park's most popular songs, serves to honor veterans of war. 

       On December 30th, 2020, Argentina passed a bill ending restrictions to abortion upon request, and, effective 2021, the president is expected to sign the law, a major step forward for abortion rights in Latin America.      In Asia, where the situation is arguably even tougher, South Korea was forced to legalize abortion by a constitutional court ruling from April 2019. While the law was not voted on by the deadline, the court ruling still stands, and the unenforced abortion ban has ended, effective January 1st, 2021. This ruling is similar to the path abortion and gay marriage took in the United States in 1973 and 2015, respectively.      Other nations are poised to continue the fight to expand access to women's healthcare!

       In a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi defending the disgraced former president, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson insinuated that Nancy Pelosi's "role" in the sedition had not yet been investigated. He also claimed that the 57 senators who voted to convict, including Mitt Romney and Susan Collins, were responsible for inciting the attack by refusing to sidestep the truth for the sake of one man.      Later, on a FOX News interview, Johnson claimed that the deadly attack should not be called an "armed" insurrection because only one officer had been killed. Apparently, he does not see any officer being killed by Republicans as a big deal, which is concerning, especially considering that more than one in three Republicans believe political violence is acceptable.      Johnson was also apparently unaware of the numerous arrests made of men and women found in possession of stun guns, assault rifles, Molotov cocktails, flex cuffs, etc., as well as the fact that pipe

       Under investigation for financial and tax violations at his numerous New York properties and self-admittedly under audit for nearly a quarter of a century, Donald Trump is the exact kind of white-collar criminal New York Attorney General Letitia James can easily crack down on: predecessors successfully shut down his fraudulent "Trump University" and "Trump Foundation," and, now, the former president is looking at a prison sentence.      The cases, which were unsealed the minute Trump lost the legal shield of the presidency, have now been handed over to a special attorney, a move that would not have been made had the investigation cleared Trump in any way.      This is only one of dozens of civil and criminal lawsuits trump faces in the years following his botched presidency, from civil suits alleging sexual assault and related to the Capitol riot to criminal suits related to the same as well as his call to Georgia officials urging them to overturn the results

       In 2018, a teacher was diagnosed with brain cancer several months after a sudden seizure resulted in extensive testing. Confined to home with an experimental treatment, he was fired because he could not come into school. Even more atrociously, he was given a deadline to return, one which he could not meet. He had served the district for decades, spending his entire professional life as a teacher, and was fired for cancer.      In 2021, Jeff Schullo, a teacher, was fired after parents grew outraged by comments he made on a Zoom lesson calling some of Donald Trump's policies "atrocious" and saying that he would be watching the inauguration of Joe Biden. In response, hillbilly parents pulled out the usual claim that education is indoctrination and decided to share video of their children thousands of times over the internet. During a session on racial sensitivity, driver Terri Ferfecki (top) turned heads when she went on a verbal tirade against the school guidance counselor. She turned the room silent, furthermore, when she asked a question regarding racism that was relevant a century ago. Eager to protect her students from racism, she mentioned that her new route included two "students of color."      President Joe Biden has a rock from the moon in his office. While this gave astronomy buffs reason to be hopeful, it was reported that it symbolized Biden's dedication to science as a whole. However, Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed recently that the Biden administration remains committed to the Artemis missions, which aim to put men and women on the moon by 2024. The administration will also maintain funding for efforts to reach Mars as soon as the end of the decade.       As a space enthusiast, it is excellent that we will not allow the pandemic to limit the exceptional capacity of the human mind and will seize the opportunity we have been presented with to soar to new literal and figurative heights.        Twitter and Facebook are not biased against conservatives, as, indeed, many CEOs are conservatives themselves. They simply have a duty to point out and sometimes stop hate speech and misinformation. That much of this stems from the right should tell people something about the right, not Twitter and Facebook.      Marjorie Taylor Greene spent years spreading conspiracy theories and harassing people while calling for the execution of Democrats, and she was temporarily suspended in January. If Donald Trump can be permanently suspended for supporting violence, his equally-crazy, brainless, blonde bitch can and should be blocked, as well.

       For someone who believes in so many conspiracy theories, it would seem Greene and her followers, more than anyone, could use education.      The fact that Republicans put a school shooting denier on the Education committee until her removal for harassing a school shooting survivor shows their priorities. The fact that Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to end learning is even further proof.      This is not a joke, not satire, and not even a stretch. Green recently co-sponsored a bill to end funding for the Department of Education, a bill that would be devastating but a bill that will not be passed.      Greene comes from the boondocks of Georgia, a place where private schools, in which gay kids are denied an education; black kids are told how to cut their hair; and other kids get hazed and abused, are king.        Indiana Republicans don't have too much political luck. Benjamin Harrison won the White House after losing the popular vote in 1888 and lost outright in his 1892 reelection bid. Dan Quayle could not spell "potato." Now, we add Mike Pence to the list.      The former U.S. representative and governor of Indiana bet his political future as second-in-command to Donald Trump. Now, those in the GOP who want to disavow Trump and those eternally loyal to Orange Julius Caesar share a common thread: they don't like Mike Pence. He is either too loyal to Trump or not loyal enough, depending on the camp.      The GOP cannot and will not put Mike Pence in the White House, and his career as a politician has come to an end after two decades.

       Donald Trump's casino in Atlantic City was no stranger to controversy. Filing for bankruptcy three times, devastating the local economy, and being fined for discriminating against female and black employees, it was shut down in 2014.      Now, the eyesore will be destroyed this week.        Donald Trump will likely spend the last years of his life fighting lawsuits and criminal charges in courts across the country. Already facing criminal probes in Georgia, New York, and possibly Washington, D.C., legal suits are ramping up, from unpaid rally debt to slander and sexual assault allegations.      The Capitol riot could plague Trump financially, aside from its role in totally tarnishing his legacy and likely preventing him from running ever again. A lawmaker is filing a lawsuit, arguing that Trump conspired with the Proud Boys to prevent the discharge of duty. If Trump were to lose or settle in this case, it could expose him to criminal charges.      The impeachment, in which even Republicans suggested Trump should face civil ramifications, has opened the floodgate. If Officer Sicknick's family, the families of the dead rioters, Capitol police, and even lawmakers were to file a civil suit for emotional distress and slander, they could bankrupt Trump.        On Valentine's Day, let us appreciate the spirit of love and highlight some of the significant strides President Biden has made for LGBT2SQIA+ rights in his first few weeks in office:      1. Pete Buttigieg was confirmed as Secretary of Transportation, making him the first openly-gay cabinet member.      2. President Biden signed an executive order codifying Bostock v. Clayton County , banning sexual orientation and identity discrimination in employment. This was his most popular executive order, with nearly 85% support.      3. President Biden ordered the Department of Defense to repeal Trump's ban on transgender people serving in the military.      4. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced that the Biden administration will appoint an LGBT Rights Envoy and fly pride flags at U.S. embassies, neither of which Trump did.        Portugal had pledged to phase out coal by 2023 and be 80% renewable by 2035. However, it closed one of its last two coal plants this month and plans to close the last in November, months ahead of schedule. Portugal has increasingly been able to generate the needed energy for electricity from renewables, and, as of now, gets 55% of its electricity from renewable sources. If this trend continues, the nation is on track to get all needed energy from wind, hydro, and solar power by 2035.      This is quite significant. Portugal is a nation of over 10 million people, and, if Portugal can do it, virtually any state in America, and, therefore, the United States as a whole, can easily convert entirely to renewable sources by 2045 with only political will.

       On February 4th, 2021, via executive order, President Joe Biden undid two Trump-era executive orders, effectively restoring the United States ability to identify and support migrants affected by climate change.      The order mandates that all department heads view climate change as a factor in their operations and seeks adjustments to America's immigration system to allow for the safe relocation of people who have been forced to flee their homes because of hurricanes and other natural disasters caused by climate change.      The issue is recognized as a matter of national security by Europe, Australia, and New Zealand as well as the United States and combines the issues of immigration and climate change to create effective change.      

     After Newsmax and Mike Lindell were threatened with lawsuits and FOX News was sued to the tune of nearly $3 billion, Newsmax decided to filter lies for the first time in its existence. While FOX has been running disclaimers stating that their conspiracy theories are nothing more than that, Newsmax decided to invite Lindell on to lie.      When Lindell repeated his same crack-fueled babbling about voter fraud and announced the release of a three-hour nonsense piece, Newsmax had to inform their audience that he was lying and ask the deranged MyPillow guy to stop. When he kept on, they cut him off completely, and he has yet to appear on the show since.      Lindell could face bankruptcy by the end of the year.

     Georgia prosecutors have announced a criminal probe into Donald Trump regarding a call he placed to the Georgia secretary of state, a call in which he urged the latter to "find" one more vote than was necessary for him to win and told him that failing to do so would subject him to criminal liability. While this is a long process that would require the probe to result in an indictment to result in a conviction, he is being investigated for felony charges that could place him in prison for seven years.      What is most significant is that Trump's defense attorney, Bruce Castor, claimed that Trump should be criminally tried rather than impeached, and Trump's call, as part of a broader scheme to overturn the 2020 election, will be discussed at length as his impeachment continues. If he is charged in Georgia, states like Michigan and Arizona could also file criminal investigations into his activity.      New York has already done the same, and he is under investigati

       Since his inauguration less than three weeks ago, President Joe Biden has increased the supply of vaccines to states, tribes, and territories by nearly a third and ordered an additional 200 million vaccines while authorizing the Defense Production Act and setting up 250 community vaccination centers. As a result, nearly 1.5 million people are being vaccinated every day, a number that is continuing to go up.      States like Wisconsin, which were left high and dry by the Trump administration, have gone from the bottom 10 to the top 10 in terms of vaccine distribution, and the expanded vaccine access will likely result in 150 to 200 million vaccines being administered by April 30th, well surpassing Biden's goal of 100 million.      If the vaccine rollout, production of PPE, wearing of masks, and American Rescue Plan all succeed, we are likely to see life return to normal by September or October. While domestic terrorism makes up nearly 85% of all terrorist attacks in the United States, Republicans seem to have a blind spot to enemies that are not brown people.      President Biden has urged for a crackdown on domestic terrorism, especially the white supremacy that makes up almost 75% of all terrorist attacks. Tucker Carlson seems to think that this was designed to call out Republicans, and he told his audience so, saying, "They're talking about you."      No, Tucker, we're not talking about people who watch FOX News. We are talking about the people who think you don't lean close enough to the right, who use Parler and watch Newsmax. We are talking about people who threaten members of Congress, who try to overturn elections, who kill police officers, who drive into crowds, who shoot up mosques and synagogues, who burn crosses in yards.      I hope, Mr. Carlson, that you simply misunderstood.

       Each election cycle, the GOP likes to talk about how they will "protect your preexisting conditions." Obamacare actually resolved that issue in 2009. They have spent a dozen years trying to repeal Obamacare and claiming that the healthcare coverage is expensive. Actually, it was the states who increased premiums by altering the healthcare market, leaving millions uninsured and preexisting conditions in jeopardy. Every two weeks, Trump and McConnell have claimed they have a plan, and every two weeks, they fail to deliver.      Trump could not repeal Obamacare, so he used executive orders to weaken it. Now that President Biden is in office, he used executive orders to restore it, giving several million people access to healthcare and cutting premiums.      Joe Biden also revoked the Mexico City Policy that bans parental planning aid to foreign countries, allowing thousands of women abroad more peace of mind in knowing that the United States supports their right to health

       Donald Trump could face up to $12 million in fines after he violated environmental protection regulations and used nearly 21 billion gallons of water from Lake Michigan to cool his Chicago hotel without a permit. He had a permit, but it expired in 2017 and was not renewed. A lawsuit was filed in 2018 and resulted in Trump being found culpable.      The Trump Organization must now negotiate with the Illinois Attorney General's Office in hopes of settling for a smaller fine, a process that could take months. This is among the dozens of legal challenges Trump faces over the coming months and years as he continues to deal with his upcoming impeachment trial. If convicted, Trump could be banned from holding federal office ever again and would set an astonishing set of precedents.

       Just days ago, the Parliament of Scotland decided it would not investigate Donald Trump for allegations of shady financial dealings involving his Scottish golf courses. This, however, will likely do little to lower the little-handed man's blood pressure.      Aside from impending impeachment, Donald Trump has lost his membership to SAG-AFTRA, the leading acting union. After it was revealed he had threatened members, Trump resigned with a letter in which he bragged about his minor television and movie roles. This was done to avoid being expelled, and Trump was subsequently thanked and permanently banned by the union.      He also faces a war over making Mar-A-Lago his permanent home, and he has even more trouble waiting for him in New York and Chicago. Donald Trump is losing, "bigly."

       I think Donald Trump will go down as the worst president in American history. As such, FOX News will have answering to do. Not only will they have to answer for their four years of defending every ugly, indefensible statement he made, but they will also have to answer for their cast of cronies belching their cacophony of noise, appealing to the minds of ignorance while putting everything in their back pockets.      Albert Pirro was one such example, the husband of "Judge" Jeanine Pirro, FOX host and chief racist. He was convicted of fraud in 2000 and sent to prison. After Pirro spent four years defending Trump on air, her ex, Albert, got one of Trump's 100 or so last-minute pardons of personal allies and war criminals. Talk about a big pay-off, Jeanine! Expecting the biggest fraud of a president in American history to drain the swamp is ridiculous, and Trump needs to be held accountable for his egregious abuses of power for personal gain. He needs to be impeached!!

       Donald Trump spent his final months in the White House hiding from the public, ignoring the roles of his office, and plotting to overthrow the government. Aside from inciting a deadly insurrection, pursuing false claims of election fraud, plotting martial law, and pressuring Georgian officials to "find" votes, Trump was apparently attempting to appoint a loyalist attorney general to keep him in power.      William Barr, who also served as attorney general under George H.W. Bush, resigned after he found no evidence of widespread voter fraud. In his place, Trump placed Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen. When Rosen was not as loyal as he would have liked, Trump asked civil officials within the Justice Department to keep him in power by any means necessary. More taxpayer money would have gone to challenge the results of what the administration itself called the most "safe and secure election in American history." He needs to be impeached!!!

     From 2016, Donald Trump knew winning reelection would be a challenge. He lost by three million popular votes. In spite of winning the electoral vote, he had to claim there was widespread fraud that prevented him from winning the popular vote, as well.      He spent millions of dollars with a White House Voter Fraud Task Force, which disbanded in 2018. Throughout the course of the 2020 election, when polls in key states like Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia didn't look good for him, Trump claimed that the only way he could lose was by fraud.      Then, days before the election, he recorded messages claiming that people were trying to "steal" the election. This was not an unprecedented move made by a desperate populist, but a calculated ploy to undercut faith in democracy. Trump needs to be impeached!!!

       Donald Trump, like Andrew Jackson, was a populist. All the more reason for Trump to hang a portrait of Jackson in his Oval Office, an office he apparently hates to be reminded he no longer occupies. When Mike Lindell, a crack addict who has apparently not recovered, suggested martial law, Donald Trump was on board. Things got heated as his advisors had to spend hours dissuading him, nearly resulting in a physical altercation.      Even after the Capitol siege and Trump's pre-written, recorded apology, Trump was still trying to overthrow democracy to preserve his power. He needs to be impeached!!!

       Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is paid almost $200,000 a year by her constituents, thanked Congress for "giving her more free time" after she was expelled from all of her committee assignments. Apparently, her claim that, "9/11 happened," was just sucking up to avoid consequences for her numerous years of violent insanity.      Lou Dobbs was the most popular presenter on FOX Business. However, viewers did not translate to companies willing to advertise with him, as his strong promotion of pro-Trump conspiracy theories made his show unprofitable.      While Trump was the first to defend Dobbs after his cancellation, this is not the end of his trouble, as he is one of the FOX hosts named in a $2.7 billion lawsuit for claiming voting machines were rigged to influence the election.

       Under President Joe Biden, the United States has already announced major shifts in its foreign policy. In exchange for turning a blind eye to the murder of journalists in Saudi Arabia and providing weapons to the Saudis and the United Arab Emirates, the United States, under Donald Trump, received recognition of Israel on the part of the latter and cooperation with both on the effort to continue the civil war in Yemen.        President Biden announced an end to offensive arms sales to the UAE and Saudi Arabia as well as the appointment of a special envoy to negotiate an end to the civil war there, a humanitarian crisis that has killed or displaced millions of civilians. This fulfills another major promise he made during the campaign.      This announcement will not affect American efforts against the AQAP, a front of the War on Terror that is unrelated to the now- seven-year civil war.        Kazakhstan has now made official its abolition of the death penalty. The former Soviet state, which banned executions of women, minors, and the elderly in the 1990s, placed a moratorium on the death penalty in 2003, and later abolished it for all execpt a few severe and wartime offenses, has now abolished it in its totality, effective January 1st, 2021.      All those sentenced to death will now serve life imprisonment instead. Kazakhstan is the 106th country to abolish the death penalty, and only 35 countries actively conduct executions.

     Barack Obama called for gay rights at the first speech by an American president before the African Union, and Republicans called him a doofus. Donald Trump called Africa a "shithole," and Republicans applauded.      Donald Trump golfed as much in one term as Barack Obama did in two, but Obama was the "lazy waste of taxpayer money."      Donald Trump passed nearly as many executive orders in one term as Obama did in two, but Obama "abused his power."      Barack Obama never pardoned any personal allies (because none were convicted) or war criminals, but Republicans call him "corrupt" while claiming Trump is "draining the swamp."      Barack Obama ended the War in Iraq and brought 160,000+ troops home, and he was a "warmonger," but Trump brought home 10,000 troops and was called a "peacemaker."      Barack Obama made peace with the former communist nation of Cuba, and his foreign policy was a "failure."

     President Biden's approval rating is 61%. While that may not seem very high, it comes in the wake of a bitter election in which incumbent Donald Trump was unseated by a margin of 51-47. Donald Trump's average approval rating was 41%, with a low of 34% and a high of 49%. While the early presidency tends to be at the high end of an approval rating, it leaves Trump the least popular president since modern political polling began a century ago. And nine out of 10 Republicans wanted him to serve a second term. Great taste!

     The Pizzagate Congresswoman has struck again. The woman who claims the media has censored her censored the media. At a town hall regarding Marjorie Taylor Greene's support for hanging Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and shooting Nancy Pelosi, Meredith Aldis, a CBS affiliate, was thrown out and threatened with arrest after asking about those views.      Thusfar, Greene's response, as usual, has been to play victim and blame the media for what she did. Urge your representative to support Jimmy Gomez's resolution to expel Greene from the House.

       Joe Biden comes to the White House with an unmatched record in terms of arms control experience. As a senator, he focused on securing adherence to SALT, and NEW START was brokered while he was vice president.       Now, his administration has made its first moves regarding arms control. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced that the United States and Russia had agreed to extend NEW START for five years, maintaining the only nuclear agreement between two nations who possess a combined 90 percent of the world's weapons of mass destruction.      Blinken has also announced that the United States intends to update the treaty to make it more comprehensive and secure other treaties with China and North Korea as part of an ultimate vision of ending the use of weapons of mass destruction.

     The Biden administration has freed up $6.2 billion in disaster relief and prevention funds that Donald Trump held hostage in the wake of 2017's vicious hurricane season. This represents nearly one-third of the total aid money allocated to Puerto Rico, whose recovery has been much slower than that of Texas and Florida.      The island has existed in a state of poverty and violence since the disasters struck, and providing aid to Puerto Rico using numerous financial and political methods has been a key part of Biden's platform. A pledge made in the campaign and announced weeks ago, this, alongside the American Rescue Plan Act, presents a beacon of hope for Puerto Rico.

       President Biden was the first elected executive in the United States to run on a platform of full equality for the LGBTQ. He appointed Pete Buttigieg the youngest cabinet member and first openly-gay cabinet member. He signed a pair of executive orders implementing a ban on discrimination against the LGBTQ and ending the Trump administration's ban on transgender service members. Finally, he has expressed support for landmark legislation like the Equality Act. That happened in two weeks.      Now, he has taken his continued fight abroad. He has reordered the flying of pride flags at United States embassies, and he has also announced that he will appoint a special LGBTQI envoy, an impactful position that was not filled during the Trump administration.        Quite surprisingly, Michigan recently banned weapons on legislative grounds. Despite being, according to Republicans, a "strong pro-carry state," the line was crossed when men stormed the building with assault rifles over COVID restrictions. This came after Governor Gretchen Whitmer imposed restrictions designed to limit the spread of the virus.      This also came after Donald Trump called for Michiganders to "liberate" the state from "the woman from Michigan." This also preceded the arrests of 14 men for trying to kindap Whitmer and the incitement by Trump of another assault, this time a violent one after he lost the election that resulted in numerous deaths and injuries at the U.S. Capitol.      We saw what Donald Trump was capable of making his cult do, and we should have taken the repeated acts of violence in Michigan as a warning.

       Representative Jimmy Gomez has introduced a resolution to expel Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, of Georgia, from the U.S. House of Representatives. One would hope the 70 Republicans needed would have enough common decency to vote to expel the Pizzagate Congresswoman.      She has expressed her support for dangerous conspiracy theories, threatened top Democrats, and made only political moves designed to cater to domestic terrorists. Greene does not represent Georgia; contact your representative to get a "yes" vote on Gomez's resolution.
