Here's What Joe Biden Is NOT

 

1. A racist: Joe Biden opposed desegregation busing because he felt it did not go far enough, as he proposed a housing program decades before its time. As for that "poor kids" quote, it was taken out of context in an article in which he describes the disparities faced by poor kids regardless of race. He stuttered when he said it, and the clip was edited to make him appear racist.

2. A man who raises taxes: Joe Biden's tax increase would affect only those who make over $400,000, which includes himself (the top 5%). Trump cut taxes by 50% on corporations and also cut them for the wealthy, and the result was the highest national debt in history with no difference for American citizens. You pay more for Netflix than Netflix pays for taxes, and Donald Trump paid 0.000025% of his net worth in taxes last year. 

3. A rapist: Joe Biden's photos of him "kissing" children are all relatives, including the most notable one, which was him kissing his grandson at the funeral of the child's father (and Biden's son), Beau. This also ignores that Trump was in Jeffrey Epstein's "black book," admitted to grabbing women by the pussy, and had more than 30 rape allegations.

4. A privileged man: Joe grew up in urban Scranton. He worked his way through law school to the New Castle County Council, the U.S. Senate, and the vice-presidency over 50 years. He was often called "one of the poorest senators" until he began teaching a popular law class, writing books, and giving public speeches. His wife and child were killed when he first became a senator; he took his oath of office in a hospital bed and commuted 4 hours every day to take care of his kids.

5. A do-nothing politician: He introduced the first climate change legislation in 1986, ran for president in 1988 and 2008; oversaw farm aid and literacy projects benefitting his home county; oversaw 6 Supreme Court confirmations, and introduced the legislation that banned assault rifles for a decade, created the sex offender registry, created the three-strikes law, mandated hate crime statistics against the diabled be gathered, instituted a rape shield law, made domestic violence a federal crime, created the domestic violence hotline, and more. As vice-president, his main achievements were ending the war in Iraq and formulating the Obama administration policy that legalized gay marriage.

6. A selfish man: Alongside Meghan McCain, he founded a cancer charity dedicated to fighting the same type of brain tumor that his son Beau died of.
