Why Donald Trump Needs To Be Impeached NOW!

     There has been quite a bit of controversy surrounding the possible impeachment (for the second time) of President Donald Trump. Why use taxpayer money to impeach a president who will leave office in 10 days?

1. Precedent: As noted by Bernie Sanders, losing a reelection bid is the consequence of mishandling the economy or a crisis, and, while Trump has done both repeatedly, he is not being impeached for this. He has incited a coup against the United States, and he must face consequences for his actions. This will deter this from happening in the future.

2. National Security: Donald Trump is a threat to national security. As more people than ever die of COVID, he sought to disenfranchise millions of voters, abused power and threatened officials, pardoned war criminals and family, vetoed military pay and aid, incited a coup, and announced he would skip the inauguration of Joe Biden. This man has control of the National Guard, the military, nuclear weapons, and more. He has too many chances to do too much damage in ten days.

3. Punishment: He loses his ability to run in 2024, his lifetime pension, his lifetime security protection, and his criminal immunity if he is successfully removed from office.
