Tucker Carlson Says Arresting Domestic Terrorists Would Take Away His Audience

 

     Not a joke. Not satire. While domestic terrorism makes up nearly 85% of all terrorist attacks in the United States, Republicans seem to have a blind spot to enemies that are not brown people.

     President Biden has urged for a crackdown on domestic terrorism, especially the white supremacy that makes up almost 75% of all terrorist attacks. Tucker Carlson seems to think that this was designed to call out Republicans, and he told his audience so, saying, "They're talking about you."

     No, Tucker, we're not talking about people who watch FOX News. We are talking about the people who think you don't lean close enough to the right, who use Parler and watch Newsmax. We are talking about people who threaten members of Congress, who try to overturn elections, who kill police officers, who drive into crowds, who shoot up mosques and synagogues, who burn crosses in yards.

     I hope, Mr. Carlson, that you simply misunderstood.
