How Tom Morello Owned Paul Ryan

 

     Tom Morello has a history of owning conservatives apparently new to the fact that Rage Against The Machine is a liberal band. When Morello was mockingly accused of white privilege by one Twitter user, the Kenyan-Irish musician replied, simply, "I'm not white." When one user claimed Morello was a musician who thought he knew politics, Morello pointed out that he has a political science major from Harvard. 

     Morello's most famous jab was toward Paul Ryan, the 2012 Republican vice-presidential nominee and House Speaker who expressed his love for Rage Against The Machine. Morello replied by writing an op-ed in which he expressed that he found Ryan's opinion ironic considering, "You are the machine we have been raging against."
