           Trump's history objectifying, violating, threatening, mocking, and otherwise harassing women is long, ugly, and speaks for itself.      Donald Trump's commercials for the past month or so have dealt exclusively with the issue of police funding. Rather than addressing the reality of police brutality, they portray a world in which the police are cancelled and citizens are left to their own devices in a world of anarchy and violence. This is only made more ridiculous by a clip of Joe Biden saying, "Yes," to an unrelated question, an unethical tactic of blatant falsehood that should not be allowed.       The fact is, "defunding" the police has nothing to do with cutting efforts to prevent crime.      On July 17th, 2020, my 18th birthday had a distinctly sour note with the passing of the icon John Lewis . In 1961 he became one of the original Freedom Riders.      One single graphic shows an astonishing source of America's national debt: 36% of our budget goes to the military. Considering that is more than the next 15 nations put together, most of which are allies, it is obvious that no major threat to America's national security warrants this extravagant level of spending.        It looks like Fox News had flirted with fire after host Ed Henry was terminated  for sexual assault that occurred several years earlier. When brought into the nation as a state in 1848, it was a state that banned the institution of slavery. The governor signed a number of laws, the first of which increases access to HIV prevention medications by mandating they be covered by insurance. The second makes it easier for minors to change their gender on their IDs, requiring only statements from medical and mental health professionals and not surgery.
