Trump Fanatic Who Fled to Korea to Avoid Rape Charges Indicted for Threatening Nancy Pelosi, Mark Milley, and Top Biden Defense Official Kathleen Hicks

"Only the very best." With the explosive revelations that have been made with the first six January 6th Committee hearings this June, I thought I would spend a few days highlighting some of the scum that like Donald Trump and act in a way he deems appropriate. Today, there's yet another man who threatened the cogs that help make democracy run. We highlighted the cases of the three men arrested by the DOJ so far for threatening election officials and numerous others who threatened President Biden, Vice President Harris, Democratic governors, and Democratic members of Congress. We've highlighted threats made in connection to or in conjunction with the January 6th Capitol attack. Today, a man was indicted for threatening a local journalist in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley; Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, appointed by President Biden; House Speaker Nancy Pelosi; and others.

The bald man in the picture above is that man, James Meininger, Jr. He's pretty much exactly the type of person you'd expect to do this. The picture above is the profile picture on his Twitter account; he was actually much more active a few years ago, mostly retweeting garbage spewed by the Trump children. Aside from a concert he taped almost exactly five years ago appearing to show a young girl who is likely his niece performing music, there is only one other recent tweet in which he apparently seems offended about a skit SNL did about strokes, saying, "As a stroke survivor, I am appalled." For somebody who belongs to a party that decries "snowflakes," he sure gets offended by comedy sketches quite easily. It's also impossible to tell me this bald fat guy didn't bring the stroke on himself in his 20s with a bad diet; he's a Republican voter, after all.

There's a reason Meininger hasn't been active on Twitter in a few years and probably didn't vote in the 2020 election: he's already a felon. His prior criminal history spans many years: he was arrested in South Carolina in 2011 for a burglary warrant in Pennsylvania. The incident he first became famous for came after he accused his partner of cheating with another man while Meininger was in prison. He violated a protective order and strangled, beat, and sexually assaulted her in a Plains Township home on September 22nd, 2018. An arrest warrant was issued soon after. In May 2020, after 20 months of hiding in South Korea, Meininger was extradited to the United States to face the numerous felony charges. It's unclear if he was ever convicted of the charges or if they are still pending, but in September 2020 he filed a defamation suit against several local newspapers, claiming that he voluntarily returned to the United States and was not "nabbed" in South Korea; the case, in which Meininger represented himself pro se, was dismissed without prejudice.

James Meininger, Jr. sent the threats by mail. He's 37; he's not ancient. The fact that he sent it via mail should be five years in prison alone. The Kingston resident could very well do that amount of time, in all seriousness: he has been charged with felonies that could put him away for 25 years. Have a nice life, scum!
