Robin Vos Got $60,000 In Private Flights From Lobbyists

Robin Vos opposes wasting taxpayer time and money-- unless it's on himself. He received nearly $60,000 in political contributions that he siphoned for a personal overseas trip to England, France, Italy, and Iceland. Vos was accompanied by Cliff Rosenberger, former speaker of the Ohio Assembly, who was investigated by the FBI regarding funding of the same trip.

This was one of many ways Vos exploited his position to benefit himself, including giving his own popcorn company $350,000 in coronavirus relief money and carefully crafting a tax cut that benefitted his own businesses.

With his traditional arrogance, Vos claimed that he did nothing wrong. What need a Wisconsin legislator has for any travel budget, I have no idea, but Vos seems to be fine with it. I hope it was worth the investment, Robin. We saw the political price Scott walker paid for cutting funding for education to fund his private jet, and you have a history of failed marriages. A European wedding is not a taxpayer investment that will likely pay off.
